Клуб существует с 1989 года, а разведением ахалтекинцев занимается с 1990 года, когда из Туркмении были привезены в Петергоф одиннадцать лошадей. Все они прекрасно приспособились к изменчивому питерскому климату, и сейчас петергофскую землю топчут уже их дети и внуки. Ахалтекинцы научились купаться в снегу и Финском заливе, преодолевать препятствия и выполнять элементы высшей школы верховой езды.
Клуб "Аргамак" является членом Международной ассоциации ахалтекинского коневодства.
Только в Петергофе можно любоваться прекрасными лошадьми древнейшей породы на фоне старинной императорской резиденции.
The club has been functioning for 11 years already. Ten of them it is engaged in breeding of the Akhaltekin horse, after in 1990 eleven horses of the same breed were brought to Peterghoff from Turkmenia. All of them perfectly well adanted to the changeable local climate and successfully multiply here. The horses learned to bathe in snow and in the Gulf of Finland, jump fences and do some dressage elements.
The club is the member of the International Akhaltekin horsebreeders association.
We are situated in the picturesque park of Peterghoff on the territory of the former Imperial country house. Only in Peterghoff one can admire of the ancient breed with the Imperor residence in the background. We also sell horses.
