Founded in 1826 JSC "Proletarsky Zavod" develops, manufactures and sells:
- ship machinery articles - steering gears, thrusters, variable pitch propellers for superships, stabilizes for ships of various purposes, propeller shafts and intermediate shafts, take-off and landing systems for aircraft carrying ships; deck machinery (anchor and warping capstans and warping capstans, winches of various purpose, ship cranes of up to 12.5 t capacity; underwater manipulating devices with remote controls; dry and liquid cargoes transfer-at-sea gears; standard range of axial-piston hydraulic motors and high pressure pumps; reverse-osmosis desalination plants and water treatment equipment; hydraulic equipment etc.
- power engineering articles - range of gas and steam turbogenerators with ratings from 600 to 1500 kW; transportable gas-turbine power stations; motor and turbo-driven pump assemblies; pumps of various purposes;
- general engineering articles - self-propelled units for installation and repair of contact wire suspensions for electrified railways; oil production equipment and equipment for metallurgical works; support and turning devices for aerials of space communication; pile-sinking units; tunnel driving unit for metro stations; heat-setting tape for pipelines corrosion protection; polypropylene bags for packing loose materials; equipment for animal feed industry; pneumatic entertainment bouncers. The enterprise is capable of going through the entire cycle of producing an item of equipment starting from research and development and ending with manufacture and supply, while also providing after-sale servicing of ship equipment in seaports all over the world. Urgent deliveries of spare parts are also provided.
JSC "Central Research Institute of Marine Engineering" develops documentation on the products manufactured by JSC "Proletarsky Zavod". Export sales of the products are effected by the foreign trade company "Sudmash".
