Газета занесена в Книгу рекордов Гиннесса как старейшая в России. В нынешнем году самое авторитетное ежедневное издание Северо-Запада страны отметило свое 270-летие.
По итогам подписки на 1999 год газета вновь стала абсолютным чемпионом по тиражу среди ежедневных газет Санкт-Петербурга.
The "Sankt-Peterburgskie Vedomosti" have been recorded in the Guinness Book of Records as Russia's oldest newspaper. This year the most authoritative daily publication issued in the North-West region of the country has celebrated its 270-th birth anniversary.
According to results of the subscription for 1999 the "Sankt-Peterburgskie Vedomosti" is the absolute circulation champion among St.Petersburg daily newspapers again.
