The exhibition organizer is the Regional Exhibition Center "Yugorsk Contracts" OJSC, with the support of the Department of Architecture and City Building of Surgut City Government.
This year, the "Building Spring - 2010" exhibition will unite two exhibition projects - the 13th Specialized Exhibition "Stroyexpo. Building Materials" and the 1st Exhibition-Conference "Municipal Economy. Housing and Utilities - 2010".
Today, the "Stroyexpo. Building Materials" exhibition is the leading sectoral event in the Khanty-Mansijsk Autonomous District, which meets the modern trends of the building industry development in the region and showcases the newest achievements and developments in the sphere of civil and industrial building, transport systems.
The exhibition will traditionally demonstrate building technologies, structures and materials, building and road machines, roofing, insulating, and facade materials, dry building mixtures, systems of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, windows and doors, window and door systems, interiors design, interiors decoration, lighting systems, energy saving materials and technologies, low-rise houses and timber construction.
In 2009, this project attracted 92 exhibitors. The exhibitors' geography was rather extensive: Moscow, Tyumen, Chelyabinsk, Ekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk, Nizhni Tagil, Kamensk-Uralsky, Surgut, Khanty-Mansijsk.
The event was visited by the representatives of the leading enterprises and organizations of Surgut, Tyumen, Ekaterinburg, Nizhnevartovsk, Nefteyugansk, Khanty-Mansijsk, Yugorsk.
The results of the previous edition of the event were over 380 business contacts, 47 declarations of intention were signed, 24 agreements were concluded. 70,2% of the exhibitors achieved desired goals of participation in the exhibition.
This year, for the first time, within the frameworks of the "Building Spring - 2010" exhibition, a Specialized Exhibition "Municipal Economy. Housing and Utilities - 2010" will be held, which is aimed at the promotion of the up-to-date innovative technologies, machines, equipment and materials, design-solutions for city utilities; cooperation of different organizations in the issues of housing and utility services improving; promotion of investment attractiveness of the building industry; introduction of energy saving technologies.
Today, for the purpose of productivity enhancement in housing and utilities complex and reducing irrational costs in the conditions of northern region, introduction of the energy saving technologies is very important for the city.
That is why one of the most important part of this exhibition will be the practical conference on the topic: "Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency Enhancement in the Municipal Economy".
