Announce: Within the frameworks of the 16th Specialized Exhibition "itCOM-Information Technologies. Telecommunications - 2009" (October 22-24, Krasnoyarsk) there will be a photo exposition, devoted to the accident at the Sayano-Shushenskaya Electric Power Station.
Within the frameworks of the 16th Specialized Exhibition "itCOM-Information Technologies. Telecommunications - 2009" (October 22-24, Krasnoyarsk), there will be a photo exposition, devoted to the accident at the Sayano-Shushenskaya Hydro-Electric Power Station on August 17, 2009.
Photo series of 75 pictures will be presented in the form of journalist's report. It will contain the pictures of the rescue teams of Sibspas and Centrospas, overall and closeup pictures on the 327 level in the turbine room, clearing-away wrecks, work of psychological services for population, pictures of the relatives of the deceased.
A separate group will form the pictures of EMERCOM and KGBU "Spasatel" rescue workers on Mainsk dam pond, working for the prevention of a large scale environmental pollution with oil products from the station of Yenisei river.
The goal of photo exposition is to pay tribute to the deceased power engineers, and also to draw attention of the public to the problems of building, maintenance, and operation of such complex and gigantic structures as Sayano-Shushenskaya Hydro-Electric Power Station.
"For me it was a duty of a journalist and a citizen to present this exposition, - told the author of the project, a photographer of the International News Agency REUTERS - Ilias Naimushin. These pictures were published by many famous international and national media."
After the opening of photo exposition in Krasnoyarsk as part of the informational exhibition, "the photo report" will move to another towns of Krasnoyarsk Region, Khakassia, to all large administrative centers of Siberia and Central District of the Russian Federation.
