Announce: The forth awarding ceremony "Big Digit" will take place within the 15th International exhibition "CSTB - 2013" which will be held from 29th to 31st of January.
The forth awarding ceremony "Big Digit" will take place in January of 2013 for the forth time.
Taking of orders for participation in "Big Digit" will start on 15th of June.
The beginning of new technological year with key event in the field of digital TV became a good tradition and a lead for successful activity of telecommunication sector in whole.
Founders of the award in the field of multichannel digital television "Big Digit", exhibition company MIDEXPO and Russia cable TV association announce the beginning of taking of orders for participation in the forth award. It will be stretched out from 15th of June to 15th of October of this year. The award ceremony will take place on 30th of January of the next year within the International exhibition and forum "CSTB" - the main annual event in television and telecommunication industry of Russia and CIS countries.
The award goal is consolidation of the market players and promotion of current technology, services and content among operators and subscribers of multi-channel digital TV networks. Holding of the national award ceremony "Big Digit" is especially actual in conditions of conversion of Russian state broadcasting networks to digital format.

Competitioners of the National award "Big Digit" are federal and regional operators of multichannel television in Russia and CIS countries, producers, systems integrators, distributors and integrators of equipment for receiving of digital multichannel television, Russian and foreign channels broadcasting in networks of cable and satellite television in Russian language in the territory of Russia and CIS countries, and Russian channels broadcasting abroad.
Selection of winners is held by voting of viewers and professional jury which consist of representatives of government institution, experts of market of cable, satellite and IP television, and leading journalist of the industry. The professional jury of the forth national award will be headed by the president of International Academy of Television and Radio Anatoliy Grigorevich Lisenko.
Voting of the professional jury will take place from 15th of November to 15th of December of this year.
Viewers' voting will be held on-line for nominations "New Russian TV" and "Foreign TV in Russia" from 1st to 15th of December on official web-site of the award. Following the results the most active television viewers will get special prises. Growth of viewing audience bears evidence of genuine interest to "Big Digit", that is meaningful for the award as a national event.
