Announce: As a part of the exhibition "EuroExpoFurniture - 2011" which will be held from 17th to 20th of May in Moscow the 10th Competition of young designers "Kreata" will take place.
Traditionally the competition is held by International Exhibition Company MVK at the exhibition "EuroExpoFurniture". For two straight years company "Rehau" is a partner of the competition.
The Door Open Day on 18th of March dedicated to the 10th Competition of young designers "Kreata" was opened by Manager of the exhibition "EuroExpoFurniture" Vlada Antonova: "Organizing the competition "Kreata" MVK gives young designers massive opportunities for professional communication and presentation of their works. Furniture companies executives searches for "their designers" at the exhibition. The company "Rehau", as a partner of the competition, not just awards winners valuable prizes but also helps to turn their projects into reality. Young designers get an unique practical knowledge and companies collect new ideas.
Head of strategic direction "Industry" of "Rehau" Aleksandr Verigo noticed: "We hope that such competitions as "Kreata" will let make injection of new ideas and specifically young designers will make it possible". He also accented in his reference to participants: "Your ideas inspired us and furniture manufacturers to new developments, new color combinations, and it means to new level of design solutions and new life quality level".
The interest to such events is increasing: even more students from core higher education institutions of Moscow took place in the Door Open Day this year. Master class of designer Irina Tatarnikova was included in the program, she cleared up to young professionals some secrets about interior design for a small area flat. Along with that they knew recent trends in the field of furniture design and became familiar with properties and application features of materials of "Rehau", "Abet Laminati", "AGC Glass", and also took part in creative laboratory on choice of banding materials to plastics and laminates.
Having in his range more than 1500 annually renovating variations of furniture brims, wall ledges, basements, furniture shutters and other products "Rehau" expands the horizons of traditional images about a flat and home interior. Different variations of furniture components of the company let turn into reality the most modern ideas.
A creative task for "Rehau" category for the competition "Kreata" was announced on the Door Open Day: to create a living room combined with a kitchen in a small area flat.
The subject for the creative task was decided not coincidentally: combination of several rooms in one spacious space is a one of recent trends in interior design. However space organization is not just a question of fashion or design but the question of person's self-sentiment at his place. Walls of small flats, rooms full of furniture and other things pushes the person out from his own flat leaving no personal space. But a small flat is not a barrier for changing "small cage" in "space for living", and competition of young designers "Kreata" is called to prove that. Modern furniture components "Rehau", Italian plastics of "Abet Laminati", furniture glass from "AGC Glass" and new design ideas will help competitors to solve this not an easy task.
Awarding of winners in the category "Open space" will take place at the official ceremony of closing of the exhibition "EuroExpoFurniture - 2011" on 20th of May.
