Announce: From 22nd to 28th of August in exhibition complex "Lenexpo" in Saint Petersburg 20th international agro-industrial exhibition-fair "AgroRus - 2011" will be held.
From 22nd to 28th of August in exhibition complex "Lenexpo" Saint Petersburg 20th international agroindustrial exhibition-fair "AgroRus - 2011" will be held.
This year the exhibition-fair will take place with slogan "AgroRus is a partner of Agro-industrial Complex for 20 years".
According the information which Pskov news feed got from the Pskov Region administration press office, the anniversary year the region is announced as a partner of the exhibition, in this connection one of the main expositions at the event will be one of the Pskov Region. The list of exhibitors is being formed at the present day.
The products will be presented by about 1,5 companies from Russia, Belarus, Germany, India, China, Latvia, Poland, Ukraine, Finland and other countries, and also by farm enterprises from more than 40 Russian regions, including the Pskov Region.
Traditional exhibition sections of "AgroRus" include all agricultural directions, including agricultural machine-building, crop husbandry and agricultural chemistry, biotechnologies, animal husbandry, food complex.
Wide business program is provided. Plenary meeting "Modernization of agro-industrial complex - state, business and science collaborative mechanisms" will take place within the program. Conferences "Integral role of food supply in development of animal and poultry husbandry in conditions of north regions", "Commerce in agricultural land: problems and issues", "Development outlook of renewable and small energy for agro-industrial complex", "Agricultural chemistry and soil capabilities", "Efficient agricultural policy - strategy and tactics", "Veterinary welfare in agro-industrial complex" will be held.
Special focus will be on issues of development of small husbandry forms in the country, including agricultural cooperation, realization of political project "Russian farmer". Farm forum, round tables, seminars will be dedicated to this subject. Also consultations for farmers on issues relating to financing, insurance of agricultural risks will take place.
Within the exhibition sectoral competitions will be held: "The best farm", "For advances in the field of agricultural science", "For high rates in development of livestock and commercial breeding", "For production of high performance agricultural equipment and introduction of progressive resource saving technologies", "For high rates in food quality upgrading" and others. The competition "The best family livestock farm" will be held for the first time.
Organizers of the exhibition are Government of the Russian Federation, Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation, Government of Saint Petersburg, Government of the Leningrad Region, Lenexpo with the assistance of the committee on agrarian questions of Sate Duma of the Russian Federation and Russian academy of agricultural sciences.
