InterStroyExpo - 2015
On 18-21 March the 21st International building exhibition "InterStroyExpo - 2015" was held in the new convention and exhibition centre, EXPOFORUM, St. Petersburg.
The following persons took part in the official opening ceremony: Marat Oganesyan, St.Petersburg Vice-Governor, President of the Union of Construction Organisations; Igor Shikalov, Head of Prospective Development Department, St. Petersburg Committee on Construction; Sergei Kuchikhin, Vice-President, the Russian Association of Builders, Honored Builder of Russia; Efim Basin, Chairman, the Construction Committee of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, Hero of Socialist Labor, Honored Builder of Russia; Vladimir Katenev, President of St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Alexei Belousov, Director General, Association of St. Petersburg Builders, Coordinator of the National Association of Builders of St. Petersburg; Oleg Britov, CEO of noncommercial partnership Association of Construction Organisations, Vice-President of the Russian Association of Builders of the Northwestern Federal District; Sergei Voronkov, Director General, ExpoForum International; Irina Lubina, Director General, PRIMEXPO.
The opening ceremony key event was an agreement on basic principles of good faith in the housing market amid economical instability signed by the St. Petersburg Government and the city leading developers.
In his greeting Marat Oganesyan accentuated that in the current conditions support of honest building companies, the market stability and prevention of shareholder fraud are the first priority goals. In this connection, last month the largest developers made a decision to draft and to sign such an agreement on basic principles of good faith in the housing market. "This document covers main criteria of building companies reliability: operation in accordance with the requirements of Federal Law of RF № 214-FZ, security for the developer obligations for premises handover to share construction participants, informative transparence of the company activity, construction quality control, etc. Building companies who signed the agreement guarantee conformance to the listed criteria," said Vice-Governor.
190 companies from 7 countries (Russia, Republic of Belarus, Ukraine, Germany, Finland, Turkey and Kazakhstan) took part in the exhibition 2015. They are LSR-STENOVYE-SZ, H+H, TSMSIS, URALSKIY GRANIT, HOERMANN, GIGALIGHT, REAL-ELECTRO, KABAN MAKINA, INNOTECH, KINEF, KARKAS, STROYPOLIMERKERAM, MOSKERAM, PAINTS BENJAMIN MOOR, SILK PLASTER, CHETRA, FORTRENT, WIRTGEN-INTERNATIONAL-SERVICE, LIEBHERR-RUSSLAND, SUMITEC INTERNATIONAL, ISOROC, TALAN, KINEF, DOKA RUS, EUROMONOLIT, CENTROINSTRUMENT, KRAUSE-SYSTEMS, ORTIS, MEKA, ELKON, SKLAD METALLOIZDELIY, RUUKKI RUS, MODERN, OKNA OT PRIRODY, MEGAL, ONIMA, and others.
This year, almost 40 % of exhibitors took part in "InterStroyExpo" for the first time, which indicates confidence to the exhibition like to an effective marketing tool of business development, with today complicated economic conditions in mind. One of such exhibitors is company PREMIO. Anna Lemegova, its Director General, shares the participation results: "In 2015 PREMIO took part in "InterStroyExpo" for the first time. It was a great possibility to announce our young company and to introduce innovative ceramic granite Porcela`BOBO in the professional market of building and finishing materials. Today we can already say with certainty that the show participation, including a new presentation format "Battle of the technologies", allows us to widen considerably the circle of our potential clients and partners. And this means that we, with our greatest pleasure, will continue cooperation with "InterStroyExpo"."
"InterStroyExpo" occupied about 5300 sq.m., 11595 visitors came here. In total, quantity of visitors of "InterStroyExpo" and the exhibitions which were held simultaneously (Aqua-Therm St. Petersburg and Country Living) is over 16000. According to visitors poll, 43 % of visitors represented building companies, 20 % - designing companies, 28 % - wholesalers and retailers, 22 % - manufacturers, 26 % - installation companies, 24 % - finishing and restoration companies, 7 % - road construction companies.
On 19-20 March, the 15th International Building Congress IBC was held which is provided a direct dialogue of government bodies and business community representatives. The congress 2015 key subject was "Planning is the base of coordinated development of the Northwest building complex". Also, within the congress, a discussion "Who will share trillions?", a round table 'Issues of property liability of self-regulated organisations' and a conference "Infrastructure project construction: from needs to development" were held.
On 18-19 March the 8th International Forum on City Planning and Architecture A.City was held and it brought together architects, city planners and developers. Within the forum there were three discussions, a plenary session, a round table and a panel exposition "City and Temple", as well as diploma theses of I.Repin Academy of Arts devoted to area development, and graphics by architects-members of Club Maximalism.
At a joint plenary session of IBC Congress and A.city Forum an awarding ceremony was held for winners of the international contest of new materials and technology "Innovations in Construction 2015".
According to the contest totals, Zavod NORMA presenting movable partitions and company SOUZ OKONNYKH TEKHNOLOGIY presenting room plastic doors in category "Materials for indoor finishing of buildings and facilities" won the third place diplomas; as well as Trade House CEMSIS presenting vibropressed concrete one-layer pavestone of Eskoo-Six type with heightened parameters in category "Materials and technologies for engineer support of buildings and facilities"; Company TRIMO-VSK presented a modular facade innovative system Qbiss One in category "Materials for outdoor finishing and equipment of buildings and facilities".
The following companies won the second place diplomas: company PENOPLEKS SPB presenting polymeric membrane PLASTOFIL U in category "Materials for underground structures"; company AIRLUX for innovative heating systems in category "Innovation in construction materials and technologies". The following became the first place diplomas winners: Asphalt Coating Plant № 1 presenting colored asphalt coating in category "Innovation in construction materials and technologies"; company "ABLOK ZHBI" presenting reinforced concrete block of engineering communications VentA Block in category "Materials and technologies for engineering supply of buildings and facilities"; company PLAST-KOMPOZIT presenting composite reinforcement with flat winding in category "Materials for oudoor finishing and equipment of buildings and facilities"; company SOLID for composite coating Metoplax in category "Materials for outdoor finishing and equipment of buildings and facilities". Grand Prix went to company URSA EURASIA for PureOne development.
Contest winners were awarded by Alexander Ort, Chairman of the Committee on quality and safety of construction under the Executive Office of Presidential Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in the Northwestern Federal District; Andrei A. Isaev, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for the construction of St. Petersburg and Efim V. Basin, Chairman of the Committee of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for entrepreneurship in construction, Hero of Socialistic Labor, Honored Builder of Russia.
Young architects and experts in construction were invited to the final stage of contest "Macaroni Builder" which main goal is demonstration of professional skills of students in designing span structures and in high-rise building with distribution of constructive loads. The contest was organised by St.Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering.
Alongside with "InterStroyExpo" the 2nd International exhibition for domestic and industrial heating, water supply, sanitary, air-conditioning, ventilation, equipment for pools, saunas and SPA Aqua-Therm St. Petersburg and 3rd International exhibition for country housing construction Country Living were held.
In 2015 exhibition "InterStroyExpo" for the first time was held in CEC EXPOFORUM, a new convention and exhibition centre in St. Petersburg which was highly appreciated by exhibitors and visitors.
