MoldMEDIZIN & MoldDENT 2006
On 12 - 15 of September 2006 attention of medical society of the Republic was paid towards "Moldexpo", where there was held the 12th International Specialized Exhibition "MoldMedizin&MoldDent". The exhibition was organized under the official support of Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Moldova, as well as Professional Medical Associations of the Republic.
At the official opening ceremony of International specialized Exhibition "MoldMedizin&MoldDent-2006" Marian Lupu, the speaker of Moldovan Parliament, in its appeal to professional of medical sphere, underlined the importance of development and strengthening of medicine sphere of Moldova, as well as high necessity of modernization of material-technical base of medical establishments, as the latest technologies and items of medical usage were the base of sterling treatment of the country's population.
Informing of a wide circle of professionals about the latest technologies and achievements in the field of medicine and pharmacy, experience exchange in the sphere of application of the modern methods of diagnosis and treatment and also in the sphere of popularization of health culture in the Republic were the main aims of "MoldMedizin & MoldDent-2006".
The largest medical Forum of the Republic achieved its goals: specialists all over the Republic - practical doctors, heads of medical establishments, scientists, teachers, residents, students etc. - met at medical exhibition of the year.
To their attention there were presented products of 105 manufacturers and distributors from 15 countries of the world, which exhibited medical goods among which there were the latest technologies and elaborations in the sphere of medicine, the latest pharmaceutical preparations, medical technique, instruments etc.
This year, like at the exhibitions of the previous years, there were figured out 3 large directions: pharmaceutical preparations, medical technique and instruments, stomatological equipment and materials.
The largest segment of the exhibition was traditionally presented through pharmacy. Here there appeared new tendencies: just 5-6 years ago there dominated preparations of Western Europe producers. Afterwards there appeared analogs from Russia, Ukraine and Republic of Belarus at much lower prices.
During the recent years there has been clearly seen the tendency of increase of export from these countries. In "MoldMedizin-2006" there participated such companies as ZАО "Borsciagivskii CFP", "Zdorovie narody", "Darnitsa", "Indar" from Ukraine, Byelorussian companies: "Borisovskii zavod medizinskih preparatov", "Minskinterkaps", "Farmaco" S.A, "Vermodje" S.R.L. that exhibited products of local manufacture. Among traditional participants there were Moldovan representatives of "Gedeon Richter Ltd" and "EGIS Pharmaceuticals Ltd" (Hungary), as well as "PLETHICO PHARMACEUTICALS Ltd" and "Dr. THEISS". "Novo-Nordisk" company from Denmark demonstrated a wide assortment of products for people with pancreatic diabetes. This year, for the first time, there were presented preparations of "Hoffmann-La Roche" from Switzerland.
Agency on Medicines in its new status took their part in the event for the first time, but as the former Institute of Pharmacy, it collaborates with it from its very beginning. Nowadays the new structure changed its highlight points directed to improvement of medicines supply for population. It is very important when all the spectrum of medicines is on the market, with that very purpose there was made a decision tо hold centralized purchase of medicines for medical establishments of the Republic.
As to stomatology, the number and qualitative list of its exhibitors have not changed in comparison with the last year. The latest apparatus and instruments, as well as herbal preparations for stomatological branch, from the leading world producers, were presented by the following firms: "Caracas-Dental" S.R.L., C.S. "Vivodent" S.R.L., "Unident-AS" S.R.L., "Medtehfarm" S.R.L., "Super-Dent" S.R.L., "Eur-med" A.S., "MedexDent" S.R.L. Specialists-stomatologists out of all regions of the Republic, as well as from abroad, besides getting acquainted with the exhibited products at the exhibition, took their part in the 13th Congress of stomatologists.
The third direction of the exhibition event, medical technique, covers Telemedical and computerized systems, implants and tools for traumatology and orthopaedy, training devices for curative gymnastics, clothes for medical personnel etc. The visitors could see all those at the booths of F.P.C. "Sogno" S.R.L., F.C.P.C. "DataControl" S.R.L., "S&T Mold" S.R.L., the authorized distributor of "Philips Medical Systems" in Moldova, "KARL STORZ GmbH & Co. KG", "Siemens" etc. Moreover at the manifestation specialists got familiar with the achievements in laboratory technique that was presented by the companies "GBG-MLD" S.R.L., "NITECH" S.R.L., ОАО "Steclopribor" (Ukraine), as well as they participated in the conference dedicated to standardization of laboratory medicine.
This year the organizers made their stresses to scientific-practical conferences. These conferences included actual problems of gastroenterology, paediatrics, otolaryngology, ophthalmology, cardiology and urgent medical-surgical states of health in practice of emergency doctors, actual problems of infective pathology, ethiopathogenic aspects and treatment of cutaneomucosal viral dermatitis. Within the round table, where there were discussed problems of pharmaceutical activity, there was a meeting with the representatives of pharmaceutical companies accredited in Moldova, where there were discussed the matters concerning supply with qualitative preparations for population.
"MoldMEDIZIN & MoldDENT-2006", according to the opinion poll held within the exhibition days, met the requirements both participants and visitors: 85% visitors achieved their purposes aimed, where 41 % out of the total number of the participants aimed to make presentation of their products, 25 % - establish of new business contacts, and 15 % - search of new partners. All these resulted in 80% of exhibitors, who have already made their decisions to participate in the next year edition of the exhibition. It should be underlined that there was a coincidence of interests both of participants and visitors - medical novelties and new products were put by them on the first place. The answer to the question about what they mostly liked at the exhibition - was organizing of the exhibition event.
As much as 8600 visitors attended the manifestation, where 85% out of them were specialists. Results of the opinion poll showed, that the interest towards this event constantly grows: 59% out of respondents visit "MoldMEDIZIN & MoldDENT" each year. Marketing researches to investigate Moldovan market were one of the most important aims of foreign specialists who came from Germany, Georgia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, Israel, China and other countries, which made 10,5% out of total number of visitors.
"MoldMEDIZIN & MoldDENT-2006" confirmed its status as International Forum, being for more than a decade the most import event of the year for medical society of the Republic of Moldova.
