The fair "New Year's Present" is a festive New Year's eve event of the city-wide scale, organized by "FAREXPO" company.
New Year's Present is a rich theme, for everything can be a gift on the New Year's holiday when it brings joy, that is why the exhibition encompasses all industries, which are relevant to Christmas and New Year's holidays.
Over 300 Russian and foreign companies will present fir-trees, fir-tree decorations, folk handicraft goods, goods for children, toys, developing games, jewelry, bijouterie, accessories, perfumery, cosmetics, goods for health, goods for home, interior articles, fur and leather goods, clothes, footwear, headwear, ceramics, pictures, books, post cards, albums, honey, confectionery, coffee, tea, dainties and beverages for the New Year's table.
The real workshop of the festive gifts for children and grownups will be organized at the exhibition. Everyone who wants to make a gift with his own hands under the guidance of masters of different technics: fabrics painting (batic), glass painting, ceramics, gingerbread painting, birchbark plaiting, wood painting and carving, carpet embroidery and a lot of others.
The famous Saint Petersburg artists will carry out interesting master classes. The florists will help to study how to arrange flower compositions for decoration of New Year's table and home interiors. Thus, the Association of Florists invites you to take part in the competition of New Year's compositions "They say that even a fir-tree will blossom on the New Year's day". The festival "St. Petersburg Samovar", organized by the Creative Union of Events and Festivals Organizers "Boiling Life", promises to become a spectacular event.
The entertaining program of the festival contains the events for grownups and children, tea ceremonies from all around the world, samovar competitions with prizes, starting fire in samovars and a lot of others. The public voting for the tastiest honey and the best chocolate sweets will be a pleasant amusement. Ethnic expositions, tea drinking in tepees, sled dog driving will turn the sports and concert complex into "Lapland" for four days.
Every day, withing the framework of the exhibition, there will be festive competitions, prize drawings, quizes, games and animations for children and grownups.
