OE 2005 was one of the most successful events held since the first Offshore Europe in 1973. The vast range of technology displayed and the hours of hard work participating companies put into their exhibits, made this year's show an eye catching and hugely enjoyable event that hosted record numbers of visitors from around the world. 1553 exhibiting companies were present and innovative feature areas such as the Oil Career Fair and the Digital Energy Zone added to the huge pulling power of SPE's technical conference, chaired at OE 2005 by Andrew Gould, CEO & Chairman of Schlumberger.
