Surgut. Oil and Gas - 2009
On September 25, at the Surgut Sports Complex "Energetik" the 14th International Exhibition "Surgut. Oil and Gas - 2009" finished its work.
The organizer of the exhibition was the "District Exhibition Center "Yugorskie Kontrakty" OJSC, under the auspices of the Government of the Khanty-Mansijsk Autonomous District - Yugra, Surgut city administration, "Surgutneftegas" OJSC.
This prestigious exhibition allowed the experts to have a look at the up-to-date Russian and foreign equipment and technologies, to carry out useful discussions and opinion exchange, to lay the foundation of the future business contacts and to establish mutually beneficial relations with business partners.
136 companies from over 25 regions of Russia, and also from Germany and Finland took part at the exhibition, 44% of them exhibited in this event for the first time. This year the great interest in exhibiting at this event was shown by the Russian manufacturers, which consider the oil-and-gas exhibition as a unique platform for promotion of the national technologies, equipment, and machines as well as for competitive recovery. The number of national manufacturers made up 78% of the total number of exhibitors. 22% of exhibitors presented equipment manufactured in Germany, Italy, USA, Japan, China, Finland.
Due to the tradition, within the framework of the exhibition there was an extensive work and competition programme. The conference room hosted seminars-presentations of the Scientific and Production Enterprise "Burintech" ltd. from Ufa, Industrial Group "Metran" CJSC from Chelyabinsk, "SKAT-Yugra" ltd. from Surgut.
The winners of the competition on "The Best Technologies, Equipment, and Services", presented at the 14th International Exhibition "Surgut. Oil and Gas - 2009" were:
- in nomination "Development and Introduction of the Up-to-Date Technologies and Equipment for Oil-and-Gas Industry" - "Neftebur" OJSC, Moscow
- in nomination "Advanced Developments in Automation of Technological Processes" - "Metso Automation" CJSC, Moscow, NPA "Vira Realtime" ltd., Moscow
- in nomination "Modern Drilling Equipment and Tools" - Scientific and Production Enterprise "Burservice" OJSC, Ufa
- in nomination "Modern Transportation Equipment, Services, and Technologies for Oil and Gas Industry" - Research and Development Centre "Evrika-Trade" OJSC, Surgut
- in nomination "Electrical Goods and Equipment. Energy and Resource Saving Technologies" - "Electronmash" CJSC, Saint Petersburg, "Tavrida Electric Surgut" ltd., Surgut
- in nomination "For the Original Approach to the Exposition Arrangement", "Volgaburmash" OJSC, Samara
- in nomination "Professional Realization of Image Problems", Industrial Group "Metran" CJSC, Chelyabinsk
The competition winners and exhibitors were awarded with memorable diplomas and diplomas for participating in the project.
Summing up the results of the exhibition, it can be noted that this project was held at the highest level. The survey results showed that 98 % of the exhibitors achieved the goals of their participation in the exhibition. They defined the following main goals of participation:
- establishing new business contacts, search for new partners - 80 %
- support of existing business contacts - 78 %
- informing the market players about Your company, Your products, services -
70 % - company image, prestige support - 60 %
- concluding agreements - 32 %
Following the results of the exhibition, 54 agreements were concluded, 79 protocol of intentions were signed for delivery of equipment and components, over 680 business contacts were established with the leading enterprises of the Khanty-Mansijsk Autonomous District - Yugra. They include - "Surgutneftegas" OJSC, "RN-Yuganskneftegas" OJSC, SGRES-1, SGRES-2, "Slavneft" OJSC, TPP "Kogalymneftegas", "Sibtechmashservice" ltd, "Surgutremstroy" ltd., "Sibnefteprovod" OJSC, UK REU-8, "Gasprom Pererabotka" ltd., "Gasprom Transgas Surgut" ltd., "Neftebur" OJSC, "Tyumenenergo" OJSC, NGDU "Bystrinskneft", "Katobneft" ltd., "PMK-3" CJSC, Surgut Institute of Oil and Gas.
The specialized exhibition was visited by over 4800 people (87 % of them are the industry experts) from Moscow, Ekaterinburg, Kurgan, Samara, Surgut, Megion, Nefteyugansk, Nizhnevartovsk, Tambov Region, Izhevsk, Saint Petersburg, Strezhevoe (Tomsk Region), Chelyabinsk, Belgorod, Langepas, Ishimbai (Republic of Bashkortostan), Muravlenko, Perm, Cheboksary, Mogilev (Republic of Belarus), Tobolsk, Krasnoyarsk, Almetievsk (Tatarstan Republic).
The results of the survey showed that on the whole the exhibitors were satisfied with their participation at the exhibition and about 50% of them expressed their desire to take part in the project of the year 2010.
