In December, the 4th hall of the first pavilion of the complex will be turned into the plarform for the show of the latest achievements of the optical industry. The collections for the upcoming season of 2010 of the largest manufacturers, current trends in the optical industry around the world, novelties in the field sunglasses design and the newest technological developments - this is by far not the full catalogue of the topical sections of the exhibition.
It was not without reason that the venue of the "Optometry" was selected at "Crocus Expo". It is one of the newest and up-to-date equipped exhibition grounds in the world, and has one of the biggest area and with the highly developed infrastructure.
The first pavilion, in which the exhibition "Optometry - 2009" is going to be held, was opened in February, 2004. The atmosphere of the pavilion and arrangement of space allow to build your exposition with the maximum effect and use all modern opportunities for carrying out presentations and meetings. Two graceful counters encircle Montre, giving its visitors a choice either to admire the landscape through the window or watch a rushing crowd in the registration hall. The Foodcourt has a perfect view of all exhibition halls of the first pavilion at "Crocus Expo". The Foodcourt and Montre are connected to each other by means of balconies, which permit to go from one cafe into the other easily.

The road interchange for access to the complex territory from the inner side of Moscow Ring Road and new metro station "Myakininskaya" on the territory of "Crocus Expo" makes getting to the exhibition center from the center of Moscow easy and cheap.
The most spectacular and historical event for the international exhibition center "Crocus Expo" will be an opening ceremony of the first suburban station of the Moscow metro on the territory of the exhibition center in December of 2009. The new metro station with the entrance directly to the pavilions of the exhibition complex will bear the name "Myakininskaya" and will become a part of Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya metro line. The opening of the "Myakininskaya" station as well as carrying out of the international specialized exhibition "Optometry - 2009" will be in December. During the work of the exhibition there will be free buses from metro stations "Strogino" and "Planernaya" to the exhibition center "Crocus Expo" for visitors and exhibitors of "Optometry - 2009".
