Southern Palmira - 2005
On April 14-17, 2005 in the exhibition complex of Odessa Marine Terminal there was a grand event of automobile world - The Ninth International Automobile Forum "Southern Palmira 2005", which united automobile novelties, scientific-practical seminars and a number of competitions.
The Forum was held under support of Ministry of transport of Ukraine, Association of International freight forwarders of Ukraine, Odessa City Council, Odessa State Regional Administration.
During the grand opening ceremony participants and guests of the Automobile Forum were greeted by Executive Deputy of the City Head Vladimir Kurennoy, a representative of "Lukoil" company (Russia) Kristina Denisova, Director of "Sudohodstvo Media Center" LTD Helen Denisova and many others.
At the exhibition there were presented novelties of such world producers as MERСEDES BENZ, CHRYSLER, JEEP, SUBARU, SAAB, NISSAN, SKODA, VOLKSWAGEN, FIAT, OPEL, CHEVROLET, KIA, HYUNDAI, SSANG YOUNG, Volga Automobile Plant and so on. Sections Spectechnics, Busses and Cargo transport were presented by new models of such companies as Automobile House "Odessa", Petrolium, MAZ, AutoKRAZ, TATA, and also a house on wheels HYMER (company Star-Auto). Jeep- limousine LINCOLN NAVIGATOR drew especial attention of visitors. As a result of the Forum "Lukoil-Ukraine" was awarded with Grand Prix of "Southern Palmira 2005" for the best presentation.
At the Forum guests could see equipment for Auto services, Refueling complexes and Car washes, and also new developments of engines, spares, examples of tuning and the newest technological decisions in automobile covers.
On April 16 within the framework of the Ninth international Automobile Forum "Southern Palmira 2005" there was a practical seminar "Sun-Guard - Elite automobile films" The reporter was a representative of "SDI Ukraine" concern Sakura - an official dealer of SDI Distribution.
A number of thematic entertaining arrangements were held within the framework of the Forum "Southern Palmira 2005": The fist stage of Ukrainian championship in auto-sound sports and tuning, the First open city championship in RC-mobiles on "Southern Palmira's" cup.
Due to high level of preparation the Forum became a really enthralling spectacle. And great number of visitors for all days of the exhibition proved it. At the same time participants of the Forum signed a number of favorable business contracts. 60 % of exhibitors declared their participation in the Forum next year.
