Announce: The largest project of children's subject in the northwest of Russia - the exhibition of goods and services for children "Planet of Childhood - 2012" will be held from 29th of February to 4th of March in the Exhibition complex Lenexpo.
Being the largest project of the children's subject in the northwest of Russia, "Planet of Childhood" has become the city event, well known and popular among parents and specialists from the field of children's goods as well in 11 years. Besides exposition of goods and services the exhibition is annually accompanied with interesting and topical business program.
Next year the main direction will be the issue of formation of circumstances for child harmonious development. The business program organized together with Committees of social policy, health care and education will be dedicated to the issues of children's health, support and popularization of family institution, improvement of material and technical base of children's recreational and medical preventive institutions and other the most current problems in the field of maternity and childhood support.
The exposition "Planet of childhood - 2012" will include three specialized exhibitions:
- "Planet of childhood" - children's goods and services from birth to full age: children's training and educational literature and learning aids, clothes and shoes, sporting and gaming equipment for kindergartens and leisure centers, games and toys, goods for newborn babies and expectant mothers, juvenile furniture for home and educational institutions, additional education centers, private and state educational institutions, photo studios, domestic personnel agencies
- "Saint Petersburg - the city which is kind to children" - government programs and projects operating in the city and directed to the support of maternity and childhood, and arts and humanities and additional education institutions, sports complexes and leisure centers offered to young citizens. Specialized expositions in 18 city districts, demonstrating their achievements in the field of formation of circumstances for child harmonious development
- "Pediatrics" - city programs directed to development of early children disease detection systems and children health records improvement ("Children health offices"), private and state pediatric centers and clinics, insurance companies, health resort treatment, convalescent centers and programs for children with disables, sanitary and hygienic products, infant food and medical equipment for home use
The business program for specialists will be dedicated to issues of formation of circumstances for child harmonious development and will include seminars and round tables with representatives Committees of social policy, health care and education, members of city social organizations and business community.
The program for parents will offer visitors consultations of specialists and master classes on issues relating to:
- promotion of healthy lifestyle for children and teenagers (food, physical activity, prevention of bad habits)
- first-aid dressing in emergency situations
- adoption and custody issues, family institution
- formation of safety information space for children and teenagers
All the visitors and exhibitors of the exhibition "Planet of childhood - 2012" will meet traditional interesting entertainment program on stage, which will present performances of leading children's creative teams of the city, presentations of theaters and museums of Saint-Petersburg, which offer special children's programs.
"Day of expectant mothers" will traditionally gather pregnant women of Saint Petersburg together and will offer them interesting and informative program with plenty of competitions, presents and drawings from leading producers of goods and services for expectant mothers and newborn babies.
"Miss Planet of childhood" - children's beauty and talent contest will again call young beautiful girls from 6 to 14 years old for participation. The girls will demonstrate their dancing and singing skills and will perform as models at children's fashion show.
