The main subject of the 14th "Saint-Petersburg International Forestry Forum" is "The industry modernization. Time of innovative solutions. It is for business to decide". The forum is supported by Federal State Unitary Enterprise "State scientific forestry center", Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, Saint Petersburg State Forest Technical University under name of S. M. Kirov, Moscow State Forest University, National Investment Association, FSC, WWF, PricewaterhouseCoopers, RAO "Bumprom". The forum organizer is CJSC Exhibition association "RESTEC".
Structure of the forum events unites congress, exhibition and business programs. By means of it the participation in the forum events is attractive for representatives of business and the sectoral science in all directions of forest complex, and economy branches related to operating cycle of forestry enterprises.
The forum will be opened on 2nd of October by plenary discussion "National forest policy - business view". In the course of the discussion representatives of leading Russian trade associations, specialists of forest and financial corporations will have opportunity to discuss aims of forest policy and principles of its forming, to bring out an opinion on strategic directions of development of Russian forestry enterprises.
