Announce: Within the framework of the "Wooden Houses Building / Holzhous - 2010" exhibition, on April 8, in Moscow, the production and technology seminar - "Timber Construction from Projecting to Realization: Log and Timber Frame Houses" - will be held.
Within the framework of the "Wooden Houses Building / Holzhous - 2010" exhibition, on April 8, in Moscow, the production and technology seminar - "Timber Construction from Projecting to Realization: Log and Timber Frame Houses" - will be held. The organizers will be the leading Russian companies "KAMI-Group" and information and technology centre "GeoS" with the active support of MVK exhibition holding.
The seminar participants will get the answers to the basic problems, which arise from organizing efficient work of building companies:
- how to organize the work of accepting orders for wooden houses
- how to support designing of wooden houses
- how to choose woodworking equipment for production of house components
- how to start-up the equipment and adjust its operational modes
- how to adjust the software for designing of houses and equipment for production of wooden house parts
- how to change from house design to preparation and performance of building tasks
- how to ensure the quality control of workpieses and house components
The seminar consists of several parts.
Lectures include reports and master-classes.
Reports on technologies, developed by the leading producers of equipment for lumbering and woodworking, including production
of wooden house components, will be read out by the specialists of "KAMI-Group" and representatives of the leading European
companies - producers of woodworking equipment:
- survey of timber construction trends
- survey of equipment for wooden houses building
- survey of wooden house parts production
The specialists of the Group of Companies "GeoS" - the developers of software "K3-Cottage" - will give a master-class, "From designing to implementation", at which they will show the full operational procedure of building company:
- accepting the order for wooden house and its design
- list of equipment and budget determination for house building
- preparation of architectural album
- production of documentation (including programs for numerically controlled machine tools or documentation for machine tools with manual control)
- preparation of documents for log and timber frame house erecting
Practical part includes demonstration of the full operational cycle of the building company from the moment of start-up and commissioning to the accomplishment of daily tasks after the equipment has attained the projected capacity. At the "GeoS" stand (K3-Cottage), the process of projecting a house in the presence of the customer will be shown. At the "Kami-Group" stand, the woodworking machine operators will demonstrate the equipment for production of workpieces from laminated lumber, and then the production of house component parts and their assembly according to the drawings and specifications, prepared in the "K3-Cottage".
In the end of the seminar a "round table" will be held, where both the reporters and participants will be able to exchange opinions on this subject.
