Announce: On October 26, in the pavilion № 1 at the Exhibitiuon Complex "Expocenter" (Moscow), a ceremonial opening of the 16th International Exhibition of Logistics Systems and Transporting Services "Sklad. Transport. Logistika - 2009" was carried out.
On October 26, in the pavilion № 1 at the Central Exhibition Complex "Expocenter" (Moscow), a ceremonial opening of the 16th International Exhibition of Logistics Systems and Transporting Services "Sklad. Transport. Logistika - 2009" was carried out.
While congratulating exhibitors and visitors with this outstanding event, the Deputy General Director of the Central Exhibition Complex "Expocenter" A.V. Sobolev noted that "Sklad. Transport. Logistika - 2009" is one of the oldest sectoral shows, which was started in 1978 and has been contributing to the solution of the most important economical problems for over 30 years.
The exhibition, organized by "Expocenter" with the support and participation of the Ministry of Agriculture of the RF, Ministry of Transport of the RF and under the auspices of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the RF, has proved its popularity, relevance, and professional targeting as evidenced by the awarded symbols of the World Association of Exhibition Industry (UFI) and the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RSVYa).
This year the exhibition "Sklad. Transport. Logistika - 2009" is represented by more than 150 exhibitors from 11 countries, including 130 Russian companies. Such large number of the national firms speaks for successful development of warehousing complex in Russia and improvement of quality of the transport and logistics services, to which aim the specialized industrial exhibition "Sklad. Transport. Logistika - 2009" makes great contribution.
The exhibition programme is traditionally rich in events which allow to draw attention to the most urgent problems of this industry sector.

The main programme event of the exhibition "Sklad. Transport. Logistika - 2009" will be the International Conference "Prospects of Transport, Logistics, and Customs Infrastructure Development in the Central Federal District".
The importance and urgency of the show "Sklad. Transport. Logistika - 2009" for the development of the Russian customs infrastructure was noted by the First Deputy Head of Central Customs Department of the Federal Customs Service in the RF - V.I. Seleznev. He emphasized that the requirements to the modern warehouse facilities, level of transport and logistics services are very high. The up-to-date warehousing equipment should answer to the purposes of development of the Russian foreign trade and country's economy on the whole. They should provide for creation of infrastructure, which will be equal to the best foreign analogues. V.I. Seleznev expressed confidence that all exhibits, presented at the exhibition, will be extensively used and this will give the opportunity to develop warehousing business and will help to raise transport and logistics services to the adequate level.
At the exhibition opening ceremony, the Minister of Agriculture of the Rf E.B. Srynnik expressed confidence that: "the exhibition will contribute to the solving the problems of promotion goods and services on the agricultural market of the RF".
Welcoming exhibitors and organizers of the "Sklad. Transport. Logistika - 2009" on behalf of Ministry of Agriculture of the RF, the Deputy Director of the Department of Food and Processing Industry, Regulation of Agricultural Market and Quality of Products of the Ministry of Agriculture of the RF S.N. Seregin declared that the exhibition has a paramount importance for the Russian agroindustrial complex. The technologies and equipment, presented by the exhibitors, will allow to optimize the whole production procedure, from growing and harvesting to the shop shelves, thereby contributing to the steady development of the agroindustrial market. The show "Sklad. Transport. Logistika - 2009" gives a chance to be introduced to the latest developments in the fields of warehousing, transport, and logistics and to use them hereafter for the delivery of agricultural products to the consumer.
