Announce: During the international food and drink exhibition "WorldFood Moscow - 2019", which will take place from 24 to 27 September in Moscow the annual competition "Product of the year" will be held.
Many well-known companies have put forward their production to the contest: "Almak" group of companies, "Bayan Sulu", "Myasnickii Ryad", "Polezzno". The applications continue to be actively received by the organizers.
For the entire history of the competition, 1600 companies participated in it with 4700 products, 2200 medals were awarded in 16 categories. This year the best participants will be defined in the following nominations: "Wine", "Dietary products and baby food", "Confectionary", "Alcoholic beverages", "Oils and fats", "Mineral waters, soft and low-alcohol drinks", "Diary products (+canned diary food and ice cream)", "Meat products, including canned food", "Food concentrates, seasonings, ingredients and yeasts", "Fruits & vegetables", "Processed fruits and vegetables and honey-based products", "Soy products", "Poultry products, eggs and egg products", "Fish & seafood", "Bakery, pasta, cereals and flours", "Tea, coffee and spices". The product quality will be defined by the independent experts. All samples will be evaluated by organoleptic characteristic, physical and chemical, microbiological indicators. The contest jury will also pay attention to the packaging and labeling. The decision will be made on the basis of protocols of the evaluation commission, composed of industry institutions experts, food production companies, government representatives.
The "Product of the year" competition is held annually during the exhibition "WorldFood Moscow - 2019". Winning Products are far superior to their analogues, are produced by innovative technologies, are stored under optimal conditions. 84 applications for participation in the competition has already been submitted.
