Moscow has a modern scientific and technological innovation complex for the development and commercialization of new technologies, the first post-Soviet Russian science city under construction from scratch, as well as the territory (a separate site), which is a prominence beyond the Moscow ring road, and the Moscow city district.

The complex provides special economic conditions for companies working in priority sectors of the Russian economy modernization: telecommunications and space, biomedical technologies, energy efficiency, information technologies, and nuclear technologies.
