In 2005, the theatre underwent major repairs and restoration, technological equipment, stage and hall clothing, and armchairs were completely replaced. The size of the orchestra pit was increased, which allowed to take on tour musical and ballet groups with a full orchestra.

The Sochi Philharmonic is located in the building of the Winter theatre. Over the past four decades, many groups and soloists have been born in the Philharmonic and gained love and popularity among the audience. Today, the Association includes more than 100 artists who actively perform.
