On February 3, in Munich, the Executive Committee of the Global Association of Exhibition Industry UFI made decision at the special meeting about certification of the International Exhibition of Security Industry "Bezpeka - 2010" (October 26-29, Kiev).
The UFI certificate is a kind of exhibition quality label, the sign of exhibition's correspondence to the high standards of the world exhibitions. Nowadays, the "Bezpeka - 2010" exhibition is the main event of the year for security industry in Ukraine. The exhibition covers the full spectrum of technologies, equipment, and services for enterprise, office, private house, and personal security. Its topical sections contain technical systems and means of security, systems and means of fire safety, buildings and structures management systems, special expositions "InfoBEZPEKA" and "OKHORONA".
Every year, "Bezpeka" brings together the leading developers, manufacturers, and distributors. 165 institutions, enterprises, organizations, and companies from Ukraine, Belarus, Hungary, Germany, Poland, Russia, Finland took part in the 14th International Exhibition "Bezpeka - 2009". The French companies showcased technologies and equipment in the national pavilion, which was organized by the French agency UBIFRANCE and the Agency on the International Businees Development of France, with the support of the French Embassy in Ukraine. Over 5,000 experts from all Ukrainian regions visited the exhibition.
The challenging and heavy business program, embracing professional forums, conferences, seminars, presentations, has become a visit card of the "Bezpeka" exhibition. One of the core events of "Bezpeka - 2009" was the Ukrainian-Polish Forum for Euro-2012, organized by the Ukrainian Federation of Employees of Non-State Security Services and leading public organization in security matters of Poland, POLSKA IZBA OCHORONY, under support of the Secretariat of the President of Ukraine, Football Federation of Ukraine and Local Organizing Committee for Euro-2012 Ukraine. The Technique Parade of the PROTECTION exposition exhibitors and the first Miss Security Ukraine competition helped make the exhibition a spectacular event.
In exhibitors' opinion, "Bezpeka" is really contributing to the creation of civilized security market in Ukraine and is a place, where the philosophy of Ukrainian security industry is being built. The role of the industry organizations in forming the exposition and exhibition business program is enormours. "Bezpeka - 2009" was held with the most outspoken support of the Department of the State Security Service of the Ministry of Internal Affair of Ukraine, Ukrainian Federation of Employees of Non-State Security Services, Ukrainian Federation of Security Experts.
The structure of the Exhibition Organization Committee confirms the national importance of the event: National Academy of Science of Ukraine, Ministry of Internal Affair of Ukraine, State Customs Service of Ukraine, Ministry of Transport and Communications of Ukraine, State Service of Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine.
