Arab Chemistry Conference - 2008

Description

It is a tradition for the Arab Union of Chemists, AUC, to hold its scientific conference every two years in one of its member counters. Now, the Libyan Chemical Society and the Libyan Petroleum Institute (formerly, Petroleum Research Centre), will jointly organize the 14th Arab Chemistry Conference (ACC-14).

In addition to the main branches of chemistry, the conference welcomes petroleum & gas research participations, since the oil industry is considered to be the core of most Arab economics. The conference will also concentrate on the roll of chemistry and its importance in creating a healthy and clean environment. Research papers in the field of chemical education and the methods of increasing the efficiency of chemistry teaching are also welcomed.
