China International Pipe Exhibition (CIPE), which the original name is China International Petroleum & Gas Pipe and Storage Technology Exhibition, is an annual exhibition held every April in Beijing. It is regarded as a supreme exhibition in Chinese pipe field.It is not only approved by International Exhibition Union (UFI)'s in April,2005 and becomes the 22nd professional exhibition in China mainland, but it is the only one which got approved by UFI in pipe field. CIPE has been successfully held for seven years. According to the feedback from many enterprises, the organizers should enlarge the scale of exhibition, extending the exhibits to city infrastructure construction, industry and long-distance transportation on oil, coal, gas, water, power and other pipe field so that it can reflect the whole developing trend in pipe field at present (originally limited inoil and gas pipe). Most importantly, they suggest that the exhibition should be held in Tianjin,which has a vast marketing potential, to provide an expansive marketing platform.
