Comtek: Reaching New Quality
The 12th International IT Exhibition Comtek 2001 will take place at Krasnaya Presnya Expocentre on April 23-27, 2001.
This year the organisers decided to change the exhibition's format. Now the exposition will be comprised of the following two major parts: Comtek - Personal Computing Expo (the Consumer Part) and Comtek Business-to-Business (the Business Part).
All the new sections exhibited will be integral part of the I.T. Week including a large-scale international conference, RUSSIA ON ITS WAY TO A NEW ECONOMY: BUSINESS AND THE INTERNET devoted to the development of the Russian IT market's key sectors and to the prospects for developing electronic business in Russia.
Comtek - Personal Computing Expo is the "Consumer" Part of the Exhibition. No registration is required here, which is to say that it will be accessible for all comers.
Here you can get acquainted with PC/peripherals manufacturers and distributors, antiviral system/computer game developers, cellular hardware/portable computer distributors, Internet/content providers, etc.
Moreover, it is in this part of the exposition that the Game Centre is placed with the latest developments in the field of computer games, which is expected to be of interest not only for newbies but for advanced users as well.
The Testing Centre will help all the visitors who wish to test their knowledge in the field of computer programs ranging from simplest to professional, in natural, friendly surroundings.
The Internet Cafe will enable you to get anywhere on the Internet.
The other part of the exposition, Comtek Business-to-Business is exhibited FOR PROFESSIONALS ONLY.
No one may visit this part of the exposition otherwise than upon registration as a business visitor.
This will enable experts and businessmen to look into the exhibitors' products and services in a quiet atmosphere.
Comtek Business-to-Business comprises the following shows: 1. Software Expo. This section will exhibit business software, including the ExpoCAD section traditional for Comtek. 2. E-Business Expo. A show devoted to E-Commerce and to e-business development prospects. 3. Business Systems Expo. This show will exhibit the hardware and peripherals necessary for normal operation of an office. 4. Photo Publishing Expo. This traditional section exhibits publishing systems and technologies. This year it will be supplemented with photo equipment, products and services.
