Information technology Week "IT-Week 2004" is:
- The largest forum in the field of Information Technologies in Russia and CIS countries;
- Five international IT exhibitions held at the same time in the same place;
- Two international conferences;
- More than 250 exhibiting companies from 25 countries all over the world;
- More than 75 000 visitors from more than 500 cities of Russia and CIS;
- 35 000 IT professionals in the business trade section of the exhibition;
Official support of the Ministry of the RF on Communication and Informatization, Ministry of Industry, Science and Technologies of the RF, Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the RF, Ministry of Education of the RF and Moscow government.
The following exhibitions and conferences will take place within the framework of IT-Week 2004:
- Personal Computing Expo - a general non-specialized exhibition focused on end users. The exhibitors include manufacturers and distributors of personal computers, peripherals and computer games, distributors of cell technique and portable computers, Internet and content providers, and many others.
- Hardware & Peripherals Expo - a special exhibition presenting computers, monitors, peripherals, components, drivers, communication equipment and services, i.e. the whole range of business-focused hardware.
- Software Expo - a specialized exhibition dedicated to software products for accounting and warehouse registration, comprehensive software of corporate management, document control and identification systems, software development, and information protection. A number of special seminars on the critical issues in the field of economic and business management software development will be held within the framework of this exhibition.
- Specialized exhibition CAD/CAM/CAE presents automated design systems. For most of Russian manufacturers the necessity to use CAD systems to optimize the performance of their enterprises has become obvious. It is especially apparent in such fields of industry, as aircraft building, motorcar building, heavy machinery, architecture, construction, and oil and gas industry.
- eLearn Expo - a specialized exhibition demonstrating the newest products and technologies in the field of electronic learning designed for joint and individual use. Remote education via Internet and Intranet networks being widely spread in developed countries is now becoming a topical issue in Russia too.
- eBusiness Russia (Electronic Business in Russia) - an international conference dedicated to automation of business processes, electronic commerce development and selection of IT personnel.
- International Conference eLearning Russia (Information Technologies in Education) will cover the latest achievements in the field of educational technologies at schools and universities, as well as remote and business education issues
