Description
The second specialized exhibition "Engines" will be held in 8-11 June 2004 in St.Petersburg. It aims at demonstration of engines of all kinds by both domestic and the leading foreign manufacturers, investigation of production stage and technical level of manufactured engines.
Main sections:
- Plunger engines: diesel, petrol, gas, gas-diesel for different purposes-ships, locomotives, automobiles, small power plants, etc.
- Power plants based on plunger engines: engine-generator, engine-gear, engine-pump, etc.; co-generation units generating electricity, heat, etc.
- Plunger engines of non-traditional schemes and designs: rotary-plunger, rotary-blade, engines with external heat supply, etc.
- Gas-turbine and jet engines for aircraft
- Development of new engine types, modernization of the existing engines
- Machinery for manufacture of engines
- Systems for fuel supply, turbo-supercharging, cooling
- Design and production technologies (CAD, CAM, etc.)
- Operation and maintenance of engines, power units and system elements
- Systems of lubrication, fuel, oils
- Components, cooperation and subcontracting
- Certification and standardization of engines
- Personnel training
- Innovative and investment projects
Simultaneously there will be held the All-Russia congress of engine manufacturers that will feature the main problems of the industry including modernization and upgrading of manufactured products, design of new engine types, technologies development, integration and international cooperation, subcontracting etc.
This year the exhibition "Engines" will be held in the frameworks of St. Petersburg Technical Fair - a complex event of federal level comprising the exposition of scientific technical potential and the brand new achievements of Russian science: the international exhibition and congress "High technologies. Innovations. Investments" and the specialized industrial exhibitions "Compressors. Pumps. Fittings", "Privex ", "Simulator technologies".
