Description
The Agrorus International Agroindustrial Exhibition is one of the industry platforms with a 35-year history, bringing together the agricultural sector, farmers, processing companies and business services. The exhibition is held annually in St. Petersburg, at the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Centre, and brings together producers, suppliers, retail chain representatives, scientific and educational institutions on one site. It is a priority project of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. This specialised event in the agribusiness sphere annually builds a professional community, defines agricultural development trends and serves as a venue for signing strategic contracts.
The mission of the project is to develop agroindustrial infrastructure, ensure national food security and expand interregional cooperation, opening up access to new markets for domestic products. The exhibition acts as a centre of agribusiness where producers, scientists, processors and trade representatives meet to discuss pressing industry issues and conclude business agreements. Over its 35 years of operation, Agrorus has become a platform for showcasing achievements in the agricultural sector and exchanging best practices. It helps strengthen business ties between regions of Russia and foreign countries.
The exposition covers all key areas of the agroindustrial complex: from crop production and animal husbandry to processing, packaging and sales of finished products. Participants and visitors have the opportunity to get acquainted with modern technologies, equipment, innovative solutions and a wide range of products for agriculture and the food industry. The exhibition features business meetings and presentations that facilitate direct contacts between producers and consumers, as well as discussions on state support and industry regulation. Special attention is paid to regional and international collective expositions showcasing products and investment opportunities of various territories.
