The International Exhibition "Industry of Fashion - 2009", which is held from September 30 to October 3 by the exhibition union "FAREXPO", ranks among the priority events, is supported by the Saint Petersburg Administration and the Government of Leningrad Region.
The exhibition "Fashion Industry" is included into exhibition projects for development of the national market of light and textile industry goods "Russian Fashion" ("Roslegprom" OJSC / "RLP-Yarmarka" ltd.) and "Russian Week of Textile and Fashion" ("Concern "Rostextile" OJSC / "Textileexpo" CJSC). The new stage of the development of the exhibition "Fashion Industry" is the official international recognition. In 2004 "Fashion Industry" was certified by the World Association of the Exhibition Business.
The seasonal exhibitions of fashion, held by the exhibition union "FAREXPO", are the largest sectoral exhibitions in the North-West Region of Russia and they rank among the priority events, supported by the Saint Petersburg Administration and the Government of Lenigrad Region. The exhibitions are awarded with the Honorary Sign of the International Union of Exhibitions and Fairs. They are being developed dynamically in both number of exhibitors and in exposition area and topics.
The goal of the exhibition: to create the optimal conditions for demonstration of manufactured products, effective experience exchange in the sphere of technologies and business professional organization, establishing new business contacts and concluding agreements, market condition and product competitive ability analysis.
The concept of development of the exhibitions "Fashion Industry" is aimed at the work with the wholesale buyers and industry experts.
On September 30 and on October 1 - the exhibition is open only for professional buyers and industry experts; on October 2-3 - for experts and for the general public.
