Announce: Visitors of the 42nd International exhibition of textile and light industry "Fashion Industry - 2013" will meet a highly topical business program. The exhibition will be held from 10th to 13th of October in St. Petersburg.
From 10th to 13th of October in the Saint Petersburg Sports and Concert Complex the 42nd International exhibition of textile and light industry "Fashion Industry - 2013" will be held.
The organizer is the exhibition company FarExpo. The exhibition is held with the support of RF Ministry of Industry and Trade, Saint Petersburg Government, Saint Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry and National academy of fashion industry.
"Fashion Industry" is an only industry exhibition in RF Northwestern Federal District. Traditionally the event gather together representatives of fashion business from Russia, countries of the near and far abroad. 300 firms from 20 countries are going to take part in the exhibition.
For the first time the largest associations of textile and light industry from China and Lithuania will present their products in St. Petersburg. Also national expositions of Bangladesh, Italy, Turkey will be presented at the exhibition.
The central act of the exhibition business part is Economic Forum for Fashion Industry, where participants get information on topical questions for managing fashion business. On the first day a conference will be held, where the industry development prospects, questions on cooperation of government and business units, and other economic specialized issues will be discussed. Representatives of Saint Petersburg Administration, heads of enterprises of garment and textile industry, trade, mass media are invited for participation in the event. A master of the conference is Andrei Magarik, chief editor of the portal "Russian Trade Names".
Professor of history of costume and fashion marketing of Milan New Academy of Arts (NABA) Lyuba Popova will present fashion trends for spring and summer 2014.
Olga Korystova, an expert of the Higher School of Economics and the International School of Marketing МОD'spe (Paris) will hold the seminar "New technologies in garment production" for specialists in the field of garment production.
Andrei Burmatikov will offer practical suggestions for buyers, both newcomers and professionals. He consults companies of fashion industry on issues relating to assortment policy, marketing, trade marks positioning.
In reply to current trends the vice director of the Higher school of marketing and business development Andrei Mamonov will tell about social networks in fashion industry. The audience will learn how to attract consumers, to present and to sell goods by the means of computer technologies.
The mainstream audience of the exhibition will undoubtedly be interested in the seminar "The rules of the season. Fashionable outfit for autumn-winter - 2014. New combinations of basic garments". The director of the image-agency "ARTEGO" Marina Kornilova will tell about fashion trends of the season, and will help to create new looks taking into account own garments of her clients, and will answer the most common questions about fashion and style.
With the support of National Academy of Fashion Industry the open competition of young designers "NEXT generation" will be held. For the first time the competition will be held in two directions: the traditional - "Garment", and the new one -"Textile". Textile designers will submit their drawings and new fabric samples to jury approval. Rules of the competition were also changed - now graduation works of designers of a final class are submitted for approval of professionals at the autumn exhibition. Winners will get certificates and opportunities for promotion of their trade marks in the fashion market. And what is more, this year for the first time a winner in the direction "Garment" will become one of challengers for the National prize in the field of fashion industry in the category "Debut".
From 10th to 13th of October within the "Fashion Industry" a job center will operate, where visitors can get consultations on employment assistance, take a look at job vacancies in the industry. Specialists will recruit staff for employers, and will answer questions regarding training and certification of sales personnel. The job center is organized in association with the company "HeadHunter Saint Petersburg".
During all days of the exhibition in the Business center consultations will be held, organized in collaboration with the general information partner of the exhibition - publication "PROFashion". The exhibitors and visitors will be consulted on the most urgent legal and economic issues.
