The 12th Bishkek Fashion & Textile International Specialized Exhibition is held internationally and targets light industry professionals. International manufacturers and wholesalers in the sectors of women's wear, men's wear, children's wear, sportswear, knitwear, underwear, swimwear, leather goods, footwear, fabrics, yarn and accessories present their collections at the exhibition. Buyers, wholesalers, manufacturers, retail stores, boutiques, chain stores and designers attend the event at both national and international levels to hold negotiations with industry professionals. Companies also hold fashion shows during the exhibition.
The exhibition serves as a platform bringing together specialists from the fields of clothing, linen, fabrics, haberdashery and accessories. Participants discuss innovations in light industry, new styles and models, prospects for further development, as well as current challenges faced by manufacturers and sellers of finished products. Bishkek is a major wholesale market in Central Asia, with the Dordoy market housing numerous wholesalers, shops and boutiques. A significant portion of apparel and textile products imported into the Dordoy market is exported to Central Asian markets, primarily Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, East Turkestan and Russia. Kyrgyzstan's well-developed road, rail and air transportation network facilitates trade in the region.
The exhibition is held for the 12th time and annually brings together manufacturers, distributors and buyers in the fashion and textile sector from Central Asian countries and beyond. The event provides a platform for business contacts and experience exchange.
