The «Hunting and Fishing in Rus'» International Trade Fair is an industry event that brings together manufacturers, distributors and suppliers of hunting and fishing gear, weapons, optics, vehicles and outdoor equipment. First held on 6 February 1996 in Moscow, the exhibition has been organised twice a year since, attracting business representatives and outdoor enthusiasts from Russian regions and other countries. The event has established itself as a traditional platform for showcasing the latest developments and forging business contacts in hunting and fishing.
The fair offers participants the opportunity to present new products in the hunting and fishing market, hold business negotiations, strengthen partnerships and conclude supply contracts. Visitors can examine up-to-date equipment samples, receive expert advice and take part in demonstrations and test drives of equipment.
Each year the exhibition welcomes over 700 Russian and international companies. The exposition covers an area of more than 23,000 m^2 and is visited by over 50,000 people, including about 10,000 industry professionals. The concentration of experts and end consumers makes the event an effective platform for studying demand and promoting brands.
The exhibition covers all key segments: fishing tackle and accessories, hunting weapons and gear, water and off-road vehicles, optical instruments and tracking devices, as well as active tourism and country leisure goods.
Exhibition sections
- Fishing: rods, reels, lines, lures, hooks, jigs, feeders, fishing platforms and echo sounders
- Hunting: smoothbore and rifled weapons, airguns, crossbows, bows, knives, sheaths and cartridges
- Transport: ATVs, snowmobiles, tricycles, trailers and spare parts
- Optics and observation: binoculars, spotting scopes, thermal imagers, night vision devices, range finders
- Active tourism: tents, sleeping bags, backpacks, cookware, navigators, clothing and footwear for outdoor activities, tourist bases
- Water transport: motorboats, inflatable boats, launches, personal watercraft, outboard motors and accessories
The exposition is complemented by sections of souvenirs, themed literature and related services. The exhibition takes place at the TLC Timiryazev Centre (Nemchinov hall, 6 Verkhnyaya Alleya, bldg 1) and is open to visitors on the indicated dates. The regular spring and autumn sessions allow timely presentations of seasonal novelties.
