Perm Region is one of the leading forest industry complexes in Russia and in Europe. Forests cover 75% of the territory.
The total stock of timber makes up 1,587.0 million cubic meters. The long-term target program "Development of Forestry in
Perm Region for 2013-2017 "Forests of the Kama Region" has been launched in Perm Region since 2012. 10 priority investment
projects in the forestry field were approved and 4 investment platforms were declared in Perm Region.
Exhibition "LesTekhExpo" is a long-awaited event for the authorities and all participants of the forest industry.
The Ministry of Natural Resources of Perm Region and Association "Timber Industrialists of the Kama Region" support
the project extensively.
