Alba, Maxima and IMC have started the project of the specialised footwear exhibition in 1996. In September 1997 the first Moscow International Specialised Exhibition of Footwear MosShoes was organised, gathering about 150 companies from 15 countries.
Since 1998 MosShoes exhibitions are run twice a year, in spring and autumn. In 1998 National Footwear Association (Russia) becomes the co-organiser of the exhibition.
Since 1999 MosShoes has the following sections:- MosShoes - Footwear. Men's footwear, lady's footwear, children's footwear, leisure and sports footwear, safety footwear, orthopaedic footwear.
- MosShoes - Leather. Leather, tanneries, leather products, leather chemicals.
- MosShoes - Components. Components for footwear, semi-finished goods.
- MosShoes - Accessories. Bags, belts, gloves, small leather goods.
- MosShoes - Technology. Machinery for footwear production, tanning technologies, shop equipment, CAD.
- MosShoes - Fashion and Design. New trends in footwear and accessories, top fashion, footwear design, footwear modelling, design schools.
- 1 sq. meter of equipped space (standard equipment) - 290 USD
- Registration fee - 200 USD
Standard stands: 12, 16, 18, 20, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48 sq. meters. Other options available upon request.
