The XXXI International Conference and Expo «Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2026» (OGT 2026) is Turkmenistan's international energy platform. The event brings together representatives of government ministries, national and international oil and gas companies, EPC contractors, technology providers, financial institutions and investors to foster dialogue on energy security, sustainable development and investment cooperation.
Turkmenistan is implementing an energy strategy combining the development of hydrocarbon resources with the growth of renewable energy, deep gas processing and low-carbon technologies. OGT 2026 showcases priority investment opportunities — from the development of gas fields to solar and wind energy projects. Special attention is devoted to diversifying natural gas export routes, including the Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan–India (TAPI) pipeline project, the phased development of the Galkynysh gas field, the expansion of gas chemical complexes, as well as projects in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea and the modernization of refining facilities.
The conference business programme includes plenary sessions and panel discussions on topics such as Turkmenistan's energy vision and international partnership, upstream investment opportunities, development of the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea, natural gas monetization and gas chemistry development, methane emission reduction and sustainable energy development, and building human capital for the energy industry. The event features B2B meetings.
OGT 2026 is organized by the State Concern «Turkmengaz», the State Concern «Turkmennebit», and the State Corporation «Turkmengeology» in partnership with Turkmen Energy Forum (TEF). The event is held under the official support of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.
