The ProProtein forum and exhibition is dedicated to the development of trends and technologies in the production and use of novel food proteins for human nutrition. There is a global shortage of dietary protein, and the deficit will persist in the coming decades. According to expert estimates, the feed protein market has exceeded USD 200 billion. In Russia, compound feed production and demand for high-protein feed additives are also growing, with the feed protein deficit in the country exceeding 1 million tonnes. The event focuses on three key areas: plant-based meat alternatives, cultivated "lab-grown meat", and insect proteins.
