MITGE'2005
Participants.
MITGE'2005 gathered 202 companies including 181 domestic companies from 30 cities of Russia and 21 foreign manufactures from 10 countries: Belarus, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Poland, Russia, Sweden, Ukraine. Goods of 30 countries were displayed at participants' stands.
Such world known trade marks as LEGO, HASBRO, DISNEY, GROUPE BERCHET, MATTEL, RAVENSBURGER, ZAPF, PLASTWOOD, MEGA BLOKS, BRATZ, TOY BIZ, BARBARA BUKOWSKI DESIGN, REINART FAELENS, AURORA, HABA, FEHN, JESMAR, TOLO, FARO, MONDO, QUERCETTI, BIEMME, YAKARI, SMOBY, WIDMANN, CARNEVALE, MARVIN'S MAGIC, TRUIMPH, BRUDER, PIONEER, BBURAGO, PEG PEREGO, NIKKO, EZTEC, NEW BRIGHT, MAISTO, WOWWEE, NEW RAY, SMOBY, OASIS, INTEX, JOHN, HEROS, REVELL, TREFL, BRIO, BAWI, EBERHARD FABER, CRAYOLA, SES CREATIVE, THE BEADERY, JOVI and many others were presented at Toy and Game'2005.

Participants of the Exhibition offered a good variety of educational and creative sets and games; dolls and accessories; soft, plastic and wooden toys; puzzles and mosaic sets; construction sets and radio controlled toys; stationery goods for children; child's literature; Christmas decorations, carnival items; CDs, audio and videocassettes; computer games; outdoor, sport games and bicycles; inflatable toys and balloons. Manufacturers and trading companies confirmed once again that MITGE is the leading event on the Russian child's goods market.
Visitors.
The registration bureau reported 6 700 trade visitors. 58% of the trade visitors came from Moscow and Moscow Region; 37% of the professional attendees came from the largest Russian cities including Arkhangelsk, Syktyvkar, St.-Petersburg, Velikiy Novgorod, Pskov, Tver, Kirov, Yaroslavl, Vladimir, Ivanovo, Kaluga, Ryazan, Kostroma, Bryansk, Kursk, Lipetsk, Tambov, Voronezh, Belgorod, Nizhny Novgorod, Cheboksary, Izhevsk, Kazan, Tolyatti, Penza, Samara, Saratov, Volgograd, Rostov-on-Don, Rybinsk, Astrakhan, Sochy, Stavropol, Krasnodar, Nalchik, Pyatigorsk, Orenburg, Ufa, Ekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Irkutsk, Novokuznetsk, Novorossiysk, Krasnoyarsk, Barnaul, Perm, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Tomsk, Tumen, Surgut, Blagoveshchensk, Khabarovsk, Vladivostok, Petropalovsk-Kamchatsky, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and others; 5% were registered from CIS (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Ukraine) and foreign countries (Belgium, China, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Israel, Italy, Korea, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, USA).
MITGE'2005 arouse keen interest among the workers of Ministries and official establishments of Russian Federation, Embassies and Trade Chambers of foreign countries, consultants of foreign companies operating in the field of child's goods.
Mass media.
The Exhibition met keen response in mass media. Aggressive advertising campaign covered central Russian TV channels (ORT, NTV), news-papers and magazines (CATALOGUE OF GOODS FOR CHILDREN (Ukraine), MOSCOW CATALOGUE, RODY.RU, SKARABEY, 1000&1 TOYS, PLANETA DETSTVO, MOY REBYONOK, PARENTS, YA MAMA (Ekaterinburg), SPIELZEUG (Germany), IMAGE (Poland), Young Family ) and included external advertising: advertisement billboards in Saint-Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, Rostov-on-Don, transparencies in the streets of Moscow.
Reports and reviews about work of the Exhibition were given at the central TV channels (NTV, NTV+, RTR, TNT, TVC, 3 Channel).
Seminar.
Seminar 'Actual Problems of the Russian Market of Child's Goods' was carried out within the framework of the Exhibition. Among the speakers there were official representatives of EXPERT Bureau, Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology, Russian National Toy Association and KOMKON-MEDIA.
'Best Child's Goods'2005'. The Third International Contest 'Best Child's Goods'2005 was carried out within the framework of the Exhibition. The Contest was organized by the Department of Consumer Market and Services of Moscow Government, Gosstandart of Russia and P&I JSC MAXIMA. 42 product samples from 16 companies-participants of Toy and Game'2005 were nominated. Winners were rewarded with 11 gold, 10 silver, 3 bronze medals and diplomas of the International Exhibition.
,b>Charity Action.
Charity Action was held within the framework of Mother and Baby'2005. A wide variety of child's goods was donated to Orphan Houses. The Action was organized by the Department of Consumer Market and Services of Moscow Government, Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry 'Homeless Children's Assistance Centre', participants of the Exhibition and P&I JSC MAXIMA. 43 companies-participants from Russia and Ukraine took part in the donation.
