TRANSTEC-2000

Description

In accordance with the intended integration of Russia with World Transport Development, the main objectives of TRANSTEC 2000 are:-

• demonstration of the possibilities for the Russian Transport Complex to organise international transit via the territory of the Russian Federation
• development of the infrastructure of Russian gateways for international transport corridors
• demonstration of modern technologies for transportation and information logistic systems for railways, air traffic, roads, waterways and pipeline transport
• display of the latest examples of transport equipment and machinery, advanced civil engineering and transport construction facilities
• presentation of investment projects and transport development programmes, advanced transport management and control systems

The TRANSTEC Programme is supported by the State transport regulatory and control institutions and structures represented on the Advisory Committee along with the customs authorities, transport organisations, producers of transport equipment, transport construction companies, international, national and industrial unions and transport companies which participate from nineteen countries.
