Outline of the Region:
Ekaterinburg is the center of Ural Region; its population amounts to about 1.3 million people. Distance between Ekaterinburg and Moscow is 1667 km. Sverdlovskaya Province is the main link of Ural economics. A fourth of Ural's industrial potential is located there. Engineering industry, metalworking, ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, construction and manufacture of construction materials and components play the main role in the industrial structure.
As per the Goscomstat (State Statistics Committee of the Russian Federation) estimate, growth of industrial production in Sverdlovskaya Province, if compared with 2002, amounts to 110.1 per cent; this index overcomes substantially average indices throughout the Russian Federation; as regards the volume of construction, the Region is the fifth biggest in the country.
Exhibition Site:
The exhibition accommodates its participants in the comfortable COSC RUSSIA Exhibition Center fully corresponding to modern requirements. The Complex is located in the center of the City; its total area is 2000 m2 (there are two sites, both of them equipped with service gates). Open area amounts to 1000 m2.
Advertising campaign of the Exhibition above all aims at informing visitors - experts; therefore, apart from utilization of traditional advertisement carriers (profile issues and Internet sites, TV and radio commercials, and external signs), organizers send ads directly to addressees using professional database. The base is being updated constantly in the course of joint work of organizers together with large-scale monitoring companies; it includes apprx. 40 000 addresses. They also distribute information, invitation cards and VIP-cards among members of specialized associations.
