WasteTech - 2005: the main event in the waste management and recycling sector in the whole post-soviet area.

Any society generates appreciable quantity of waste. We can see it in every day life around metro stations, shops, markets and so on. For most enterprises the problem of waste management and recycling is urgent also. Recycling is targeted not only into environmental issues but also generates profit for the sector. This business is one of the five most profitable activities in the world. There are two main factors of making recycling beneficial: government support for creating optimal legal and economic framework and using new technologies.

Visiting or taking part in this show/congress WasteTech-2005 is very effective because of new contacts and negotiations with dozens of domestic and foreign companies. Participation in WasteTech gives an impact for creating new ideas, substandard and effective decisions for developing existent and starting new business.

One of the main features of WasteTech is a complex approach for waste management solutions. There is a whole spectrum of technical and technological issues related to recycling of industrial and municipal solid waste. More attention is given to legal, organizational and economical problems of waste management and recycling.

Forum consists of two interdependent and complicated parts: technical exhibition and congress. Exhibition profile covers equipments and technologies for collection, transportation, recycling of industrial and municipal waste. New topics reflect latest industry trends. Among them it ought to be note "Metal" (recycling of ferrous and nonferrous metals scrap and other waste of metallurgical industry) and "Wood" (recycling in forest and wood industry).

For the first time in the year 2005 there are specialized sections for technologies and equipments for waste water treatment, land remediation, waste-to-energy and renewable energy.

International congress is the second part of WasteTech-2005 forum. There are traditional sections and events: "Economy, law, management", "Municipal solid waste", "Industrial waste", "Packaging recycling", "Automotive recycling", "Collection and recycling of secondary resources", "Medical and Healthcare waste" and new sections: "Ferrous and nonferrous metals scrap collection and recycling", "Exhaust air treatment", "Waste management in forestry and wood industry", "Sludge treatment and management", "Waste - to - Energy. Renewable Energy". We have confirmations from key sector organizations about including these issues into congress agenda. Now we negotiate with ISWA Working Group for Sanitary Landfills and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency about possibility to organize a Landfill Biogas Energy Workshop. There are also other ideas for the chain of waste management and recycling seminars in parallel of the exhibition.

Besides of individual stands there will be country pavilions in exhibition. We have agreements about these joint stands with Austria, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Czech Republic. Russian regions also take a great interest to the exhibition too. It is planning to organize Sverdlovsk, Samara and other regions joint expositions in WasteTech-2005.

Forum is highlight in domestic and international mass-media and trade press.
