Description
Weldex is an international exhibition of welding materials, equipment and technologies, held annually in Moscow since 2006. The event brings together Russian and international manufacturers, suppliers and welding industry experts, forming an industry ecosystem for continuous communication with clients and partners. The international status of the exhibition is confirmed by the marks of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) and the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF).
Exhibitors include manufacturers and trading companies presenting the latest developments in welding, metal cutting, brazing, industrial automation, edge preparation, additive technologies and 3D printing, quality control of welded joints, protective and strengthening coatings, as well as tools and accessories for welding, personal and collective protective equipment, and technical gases. Visitors include senior management, chief welders, engineers and procurement managers from the aviation, mechanical engineering, machine tool building, shipbuilding, oil and gas, metallurgy, automotive, construction, military-industrial, railway, energy and housing and utilities sectors.
The exhibition is accompanied by an extensive business programme featuring conferences, discussions and round tables. Professional championships and competitions are held as part of the event: the National Championship Russian Welding Cup Weldex, the Women in Welding competition and the Best Implemented Innovation Project in Welding contest. The International exhibition of fasteners and tooling Fastenex is held concurrently with Weldex at the same venue.
