On Thursday 26 - Saturday 28 April 2007, the first edition of XPO 112, the trade fair for emergency services and disaster response units, is due to be held in Kortrijk Xpo. We have set up XPO 112 in response to a call from various players in the market for a contact platform for emergency services in the widest sense of the word, including the fire brigade, emergency response teams, ambulance services, mobile medical emergency teams, civil defence, medical support organizations, etc. In other words, XPO 112 is for all services deployed in case of accident, disaster, fire or any other situation requiring urgent intervention. Unique concept XPO 112 is a unique concept based on multidisciplinary aid and the creation of integral safety zones, in accordance with disaster relief plans. It is the only event that focuses not just on one service but on all emergency services, all of whom will have to cooperate and communicate with each other more and more in the future, so that they can operate together to provide a coordinated aid operation on the ground. Wide range of exhibits The first edition of XPO 112 will be off to a flying start with a wide range of exhibits and exhibitors. The event kicks off immediately after INFOPOL, the trade fair for equipment for the police and security and surveillance services, which will be held on 23 - 25 April 2007. Many exhibitors have already signed up to retain their stand and take part in XPO 112 as well, which means that XPO 112 can count on presenting a good range of exhibits right from the very beginning. Attractive dates and opening hours Convenient opening hours with a late evening on the first day and a Saturday as the last day - perfect to accommodate all categories of visitors. In addition, the strategic location of Kortrijk Xpo means that we have an excellent catchment area covering the Benelux and Northern France. We will also be presenting an excellent programme of seminars, demonstrations and other fringe events to run concurrently with our event.
