HOMETEXDECO is an international textile design and fashion exhibition that annually gathers in Shymkent manufacturers, suppliers, designers, architects, developers, hoteliers and buyers from Central Asia, Russia, Europe and Asia. The event serves as a B2B platform where the latest achievements in interior and fashion textiles, finishing materials, furniture, decor and lighting are showcased. Participants gain opportunities for direct contacts with customers and experts, fostering interregional and international cooperation.
The concept of the exhibition is a dialogue of traditions and innovations. HOMETEXDECO brings together traditional regional textile heritage and contemporary European and Asian trends, demonstrating how past experience inspires future forms and textures. Emphasis is placed on quality, sustainability, functionality and adaptive design, reflecting growing market and consumer demands. The programme includes master classes and lectures.
The exposition features sections covering all stages of space design and furnishing: from textiles for walls, windows and floors to ready-made complexes for hotels, residential buildings and commercial real estate. Traditionally, a large part of the display is devoted to interior fabrics, upholstery materials, carpets and carpeting, decorative elements and lighting. Additionally, a fashion-textile and accessories section is presented for completing clothing collections and accessories.
The event annually attracts architects, interior designers, procurement specialists from the hotel and restaurant business, developers and representatives of the fashion industry, who use the venue for new contacts, market analysis and product portfolio expansion. The business programme includes round tables, presentations and networking sessions.
The exhibition will take place on 22–24 October 2026 at the «Korme Ortalygy» exhibition center (N. Nazarbaev Avenue, 12) in Shymkent. Opening hours: from 10:00 to 18:00. Admission is free — simply register on the official website of the event.
