Description
Venue: EXPOFORUM
The International Exhibition of Light and Textile Industry «Fashion Industry» is a regular congress and exhibition event that combines day sales, a gallery of new collections of clothing, footwear and accessories, and a comprehensive business programme. It is organised by the FAREXPO Exhibition Company and takes place at the modern EXPOFORUM Convention and Exhibition Centre, Pavilion H, conveniently located at 64/1 Peterburgskoe Shosse, St. Petersburg. The autumn season of 2026 will be held from 22 to 25 October. The exhibition features manufacturing companies and suppliers of women's, men's and outerwear, accessories, textiles, and footwear from Russia, the Republic of Belarus, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Italy and other countries. The event targets a broad audience: professional buyers, purchasers from retail chains and online stores who place wholesale orders and pre-orders for new collections, as well as private customers looking for retail purchases. Visitors have the opportunity to assess the quality of the products, communicate directly with company representatives and explore the trends of the coming seasons.
The business programme of «Fashion Industry» includes master classes, seminars and expert discussions covering the most pressing issues of the light industry. Invited specialists — practitioners from the industry, marketing and law — share their expertise on fashion forecasting, business scaling on marketplaces, competitive product development, consumer behaviour analysis, intellectual property protection and other relevant topics. Admission to all business programme events is free, making expert knowledge accessible to a maximum number of attendees.
A significant part of the exhibition is the V Forum of Creative Youth and the «Generation Next» young designers' competition. This initiative aims to discover and support promising fashion designers and pattern makers at the outset of their professional careers. The forum provides a platform for building business contacts with consumers, buyers and manufacturers, as well as for the exchange of ideas between generations. The finalists, selected by an expert board, unite in a single exhibition area where they present capsule collections and compete for the top prize. The competition is held in three categories: Textile, Costume and Graphic Design, covering various aspects of design art.
