Description
The Central Asian International Textile Machinery Exhibition — CAITME is a specialised international exhibition for textile and clothing industry technologies in Central Asia and the CIS countries. The event demonstrates innovation trends and new achievements in textile machinery engineering from leading global manufacturers, covering the entire production chain — from yarn to finished products. The exhibition has been held since 2004 and holds UFI Approved Event status.
The exhibition is held with official support of the Committee on Entrepreneurship, Competition Development and Industry of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Agency for the Development of Light Industry under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Uztextileprom Association and the Khokimiyat of Tashkent city.
CAITME has established itself as a business platform for efficient meetings between equipment suppliers and textile and garment manufacturers in the region. Thousands of industry specialists and experts, top managers and owners of textile, knitting and garment enterprises from across the Central Asian region visit the exhibition annually. An extensive business programme is implemented within the framework of the exhibition, including international conferences, B2G and B2B meetings, master classes and presentations from leading technology producers and suppliers. National expositions and pavilions of Germany, Italy, Spain, Turkiye, South Korea and China are organised on a regular basis.
