The organizers of the exhibition determine the priority aims of the exhibition among which are the following ones:
- assistance in development of tourism including the hotel and social cultural services;
- promotion of the regional tourism at the Russian and foreign markets;
- assistance in creation of the system of the quality services supply at consumer market;
- popularization of the healthy way of life and people's leisure-time.
Among the visitors of the exhibition there are general directors and decision-making managers of public organizations, hotels, sanatorium, dispensaries, health resorts, tour companies, sellers and producers of sport and tourist outfit and equipment, representatives of the local authorities on tourism from the Russian regions and individual customers.
Venue
Republic of Tatarstan is one of the most economcially stable regions of Russia with high people's income. The biggest Republican cities such as Almetyevsk, Nizhnekamsk, Naberezhnye Chelny are rapidly developing. At present there are more than 170 tourist companies, 186 sanatoria and the developed cruise business. Among the public there is a constant demand for the cognitive, sanitary services and also for the organized leisure.
The capital of the Republic of Tatarstan - Kazan - is the ancient city with almost millennial history. Population of Kazan is 1 mln 200 thousands people and it contains representatives of almost a hundred nationalities. The largest religious confessions peacefully coexist here. Nowadays Kazan revives as the "west gates" of Russia.
In 2005 Kazan will mark its millenium anniversary. Kazan Kremlin was included into the UNESCO list of objects of the world heritage as the Tatar and Russian achitectural complex. The question of insertion of the national holiday Sabantyi into the UNESCO list of non-material culture is being examined.
In the exhibition of 2003 more than 110 companies from Russia, CIS and foreign countries took part. Unlike the previous exhibitions in 2003 at the exhibition participate companies, presenting all kinds of travelling, leisure and treatment as well as companies with the full range of services and equipment for fishing, active leisure and sport.
The program of the accompanying events included the interregional conference "Development of tourism in the Volga region", consultations of the General Consul of the Republic of Turkey in Kazan, companies' presentations and etc.
Exhibition centre
OAO "Kazanskaya Yarmarka" is the modern exhibition complex which has been working at the exhibition market for more than 10 years. Annually the enterprise organizes more than 40 exhibition and fair events including the international ones. On the territory of the exhibition centre there are three exhibition pavilions of 6700 sq. m total area, Pavilion of receptions and presentations, modern business-center. The open exhibition space is 15 000 sq. m. The total area of the complex is 12,1 Ha.
OAO "Kazanskaya Yarmarka" is a member of the following international organizations: International Union of exhibitions and fairs (IUEF), Nizhny Novgorod, and Union of international fairs (UFI), Paris.
